Oh Santa Fe how we luv you . . . let us count the ways!
1. Amazing people. Although we arrive into Santa Fe in the midst of very cold 28 degree snowy weather, the people of Santa Fe continue to battle the cold to pick up their warm, toasty and delicious Banh Mi! On top of that every customer was so kind and welcoming, we did not want to leave!
Photo of Nominator in its first day of snow!

2. Beauty. Every single house = adorable adobe architecture. Our local taxi driver explained that blue window panes keep the evil spirits away. (Below is Jno in front of her dream home!)

3. Delicious Food. We werent the only place with nom-worthy food, we found fresh and original cuisine at every corner. We had delicious tapas at La Boca off the Plaza and nomolicious huevos rancheros at Tia Sofias!

4. 10,000 waves. After an extremely stressful weekend on the truck (working in extremely cold conditions for 14 hours a day can get to you! Me and Jno spent a night at the spa 10,000 waves. Everyone there was so nice, and we cannot thank them enough for helping us de-stress! You know we <3 our spa days! :P

5. History. We loved exploring the oldest chapel in America the San Miguel Mission, and also the oldest house in America right around the corner.

Thank you Santa Fe, for such a priceless weekend. You will forever be in our hearts, and who knows, maybe we will be back one day! :)

As a food truck, we travel all over creation OC, Santa Monica, Pasadena, West LA, Downtown LA. When we go to each location, we try to bring as much deliciousness, fresh cuisine and great service as we possibly can. However, in addition to that, in exchange for pairing up with each of these lovely communities, we also hope to give back what we can. On Sawtelle and Mississippi we pair up with the Volcano Tea House, offering $1 off any of our sandwiches with a Volcano Tea purchase. When the earthquake struck Haiti, we paired up with T-Lofts to donate all net profits to the Red Cross Relief fund.
As Nom Nom grows, we would like to continue to give back, and help communities that we feel deserve to be recognized for their outstanding work and achievement. Next Friday, August 27th 11:30-1:30PM, we will begin our NOMS for Non-profits program, pairing up and parking in front of the Asian Rehabilitation Center (1701 E. Washington Blvd. close to Downtown LA), donating 10% of all Nom Nom sales to the center.
Please read below to find what ARS is all about, and how they have helped the local community. If you are close to the Downtown LA area, please come stop by, we would love to give back as much as we can, as well as raise awareness of ARS!
If you are a non-profit, in a good location in the LA area, please feel free to contact us regarding the NOMS for Non-profits program at [email protected], lets get this program rollin! :)

This weekend we drove our Nominator (and our lil PT cruiser!) down to ma hometown of San Diego! I am so happy that this challenge was in SD, it allowed me not only to show ma bebe off to my home town and spread the word about NOMS, but also catch up with old family and friends! I unfortunately did not take many photos with my favorite fam and friends (lets just say I was distracted by the high stress level of the competition), but I just want to thank all of you who came out and showed their luv to nom nom truck, I <3 you all, and I do not know what we would do without you :)
Drive down to Sd: wasnt too bad, hit a lil bit of traffic, but once out of LA, the drive was beautiful, and we got this goooorgeous view with our truck overlooking the ocean. <3!

1st day: Even though SD was my hometown, it was still going to be hard to let people know we were in SD since we could not use our twitter or facebook to let our nomsters know where we were! We decided to set up at buffalo exchange in PB for the first day high foot traffic, Buffalo Exchange was having a $1 sale (=even high foot traffic) and the super sweet ladies were able to save our spot (=no parking hassle!)

Although we eventually got kicked out by the sandwich shop a block away (that man had such hatred in his eyes!) we moved down the street and finished off the day not in the red ( a good thing!)
2nd day:Lemme just say that the second day of this challenge was DEFINITELY better than the 1st! We started off the day bright and early at 6 am, and made it to the Hillcrest farmers market by 9. We were given a wonderful spot next to Joes on the Nose beverage truck (they were so sweet!) and we did a special coupon with them buy anything at Joes and get a dollar off our sandwiches! The coupon was a hit and Im happy to say we did even BETTER than we would normally do on a Sunday afternoon in LA AFTER tweeting! Cheers to a successful day!
Me and Jen NOMMIN togetha! Thanks Nancy for the photo :)

We love how this turned out, and it was so much fun to film! I think my favorite clip is one of the outtakes at the end:
Food Dude: Do you want me to eat towards you?
Jno: Ummmmm . . . *awkward silence*
That is a classic hilarious moment that will always make us laugh hahaha :) A big thank you to the Food dude and Spike TV! Muah!
